Palo Santo (Holy Wood) is used in the same manner as you would incense. This 100% pure wood has a deliciously sweet smell when you light it. Only spruce is used for these pieces. Palo Santo is used in South-America for rituals and to get rid of negative energy, but also just for the great smell. This particular Holy Wood comes from the Andes and is sourced with all respect to nature following fair trade principles. Only branches that naturally fell off their trees are used. The wood then ripens for 4 to 10 years, for it to be able to release the fantastic smell.
Use: light the Palo Santo and let it burn for a little. Blow on it, until the wood glows, like an ember. The wood will glow for a little bit, but this is enough for it to release the delicious smell. This is different from incense, which will burn the entire time. Weight ± 25 grams.
