Een knipje hier, een knipje daar. In een handomdraai worden er twee muisjes van papier gemaakt. Ze krijgen namen: Bella en Ralph. Als de nacht valt, komen de muisjes tot leven. Ieder op zichzelf verkent het nieuwe huis in het donker. Bella rent de trap op; Ralph huppelt door de eetkamer. Er is zoveel te zien en zoveel te ontdekken! Maar een groot, donker huis kan eng zijn voor degenen die zo klein zijn, totdat ze elkaar vinden.
